I love to create and paint designs on clay, wood, glass and metal. Art has always been a part of my life. Both of my parents are talented watercolor artists, and my three brothers excel in drawing, photography and graphic design. As a result, i had "built in teachers" and learned many of my skills from them! Over the years, I have studied and taken classes in the One Stroke method of painting, Tole painting, graphic design, decoupage and most recently I began pottery classes! Making unique home and garden gifts, incorporating different art forms and mediums is my passion! My garden items are hand pottered and made to withstand the elements! All pots, feeders and houses are painted with high quality outdoor paint and sealer. Artwork for outdoor items is created on specially designed waterproof transfer medium, then heat set and sealed, allowing for excellent durability Indoors and outdoors! My hand painted metal bird finials new to Etsy, are sold in several bird stores in the south and are a fun touch to bird feeder poles. In addition to selling on Etsy, I create items for several local gift and nature shops and participate in area craft shows. When I am not crafting, I can usually be found gardening, and photographing backyard birds. It is my love of nature that inspires my work. I am blessed to do something I love with the support of my wonderful family!
