I studied metal smith art at San Diego State University
I love bending, hammering, and soldering metal. My works consist of piercing small detail images on metal that I use a hand held saw with small serrated blade to cut images. Most of my inspirations are from the nature and living things surrounding me in which they provide variety of shape and forms that shape my ideas in the transformation of my art work.
I also love lost wax casting in which the jewelry is being carved out of wax first then cast into metal. When it comes to casting, forms and shapes are very intrigue to me; it provides a visual effects that are interesting and it provides another dimension of curiosity on objects that we collect or wear.
I also love to write...
