A love of pretty rocks got me started making jewelry. An artist friend introduced me to the art of wire wrapping and the stones themselves seem to dictate the design. Our cold Minnesota winters leave lots of time to make pretty jewelry. Self taught, with much help and advice from my artistic friends I keep finding new stones and techniques that interest me.

All my jewelry is hand made by me in my home. I find some of the stones I use along the shores of Lake Superior or on hiking trips but most I buy from reputable wholesale dealers. They are all hand wire wrapped by me and the metal jewelry starts out in my office as a piece of sheet metal. I cut, sand, texture, hammer, stamp, torch and drill it myself (with some occasional tool use instruction/repair from my wonderful husband!)
