Hi, my name is Trudel! I have been sewing since the age of 7, the age old enough my mother deemed it safe enough for me to handle a needle I guess. I have been obsessed with purses for as long as I can remember; my earliest bags were made of paper, cardboard, staples and tape. Needless to say I’ve refined the craft over time!

In 2004 my husband and I moved from the tiny cabin we shared for 11 years into a “real” house complete with rooms, closets and doors! I quickly converted a small bedroom into my dream sewing room, and Flirt Bags was born. I used to sell my bags at summer and Christmas markets, but as I’ve become increasingly busier with my day job I’m focusing more on online sales.
