magic lantern glass slides and industrial steel, merging
history with modern art. Each slide is an original and was manufactured somewhere between the 1890’s and the 1940’s.
They are not reproductions.

Each box measures 4” x 4.25” and requires a 4 watt bulb.

Lantern slides are positive images on glass that were intended to be projected for viewing. These slides came into wide use in the United States after the 1860’s.
