I've worked in the art field for many years. I am originally a graphic artist. One day while studying desktop publishing in Manhattan, I wandered into a large paper store. It was love at first sight! I had never seen so many beautiful papers before. One of the most intriguing things is that they were from all over the world.

I was so overwhelmed that I didn't know which ones to choose (money was tight at that time), or what I would even do with them. However, I managed to get a grip and pick four different sheets. On the subway ride home, I was so excited that I wanted to open the package right there. I figured I'd better not.

On the days that followed, I experimented with the papers, designed and redesigned and thought of ways that I could share the beauty of them with others. And so I started creating such things as books, clocks,...

On the days that followed, I experimented with the papers, designed and redesigned and thought of ways that I could share the beauty of them with others. And so I started creating such things as books, clocks, picture frames and jewelry.

Since 1995, I've been mainly selling my work at craft fairs and a few stores. I do this part time while also teaching art part time at an elementary school in Brooklyn, New York.
