When my son was born, my mother gave to me some lovely felt booties of mine which she had saved for my children. Felt was popular back then, she said, and I was taken by both its design versatility and nostalgic quality. Ever since, I had wanted to make children's felt clothing of an heirloom quality that would be treasured enough to be passed from one generation to the next, as was my experience and inspiration. My son is now 24, alas, and after being passed on to his sister three years later, the booties have long since been stored away for the next generation...and after a long gestation, HeartFelt 4 Kids has been birthed.

HeartFelt 4 Kids is decorative wool/rayon and eco-friendly bamboo blend felt kid's clothing with a 100% cozy double brushed cotton flannel lining or 100% cotton lining. Much attention is given to quality and detail. The lining is sewn in and framed with felt making it more like one piece and less "fussy' for the boy or girl wearing it. While the outside of each garment is charming and delightful to see, first and foremost, the inside should be cozy and comfy (and delightful) for the child wearing it. Motifs range from contemporary to seasonal to vintage to old world charm.
