Hunter Pass Leather Goods is two sisters, Carly and Aubree Ng. Our moniker is a nod to the street we grew up on in the southern Californian desert. With a painter for a mother and a musician for a father, we were both constantly creating. Our interest in leather work piqued when we inherited a set of antique leather tools from our Uncle. After a year of making things for mostly ourselves, friends, and family, we decided to expand our part-time hobby into a business.
We make everything by hand, from scratch. Each product starts from a single hide (sourced from Horween Leather Company or locally here in Oregon.) It is then hand-cut, riveted, and hand-sewn using only two hands. We pride ourselves on our hand-stitching, meaning that we don’t use an industrial sewing machine but instead just a good ol’ needle and thread.
