I grew up on the Southside of Chicago in a loving home created by wonderful parents and inhabited by six brothers and two sisters. Yes, nine children! Creativity came early, I was always drawing, coloring, painting by numbers (remember those, fun!). When I was around ten, my Mom arranged for Grandma to teach me embroidery, what a lucky girl I was!

Over the years I have dabbled in many things, beading, crewel, crochet, needlepoint, painting, rubber stamps, stained glass, and I still enjoy going back to my favorites and as well as trying fun, new things. Reusing old things, color and sparkly things always get my attention! I believe I am like many crafters—I just love to create—I like to try lots creative techniques, tools, materials.

My family and friends are frequent recipients of my crafting efforts, I think to their pleasure and I hope now yours...
