I am the very fortunate daughter of a very talented jewelry designer. My dad worked for Napier from the 1940's through the sixties and created many of those wonderful animal pins that have now become collector's items. I inherited my creative spirit from him, but I've taken it in different directions. In my years before moving to St. Louis I worked in all aspects of the jewelry industry- design, manufacture and marketing, and for companies as diverse as the manufacturer of tiaras for beauty contests to the american distributor for designer lines that included Givenchy and Richelieu. Working with wire came about as a way of creating jewelry in my small workspace that doesn't allow room for a soldering bench or many of the other tools of the trade that I depended on.
