Hi, my name is Amy, but I am often known as Jefita (he-fee-tuh). Thank you for taking a peek at my shop. I am a small town Oklahoma girl transplanted to the D.C./Baltimore area. I spend my time being an artist/illustrator person and sewing tons of tiny creatures. I love stories and characters and this is my way of sharing them.

Being able to create and work with my hands is what makes me happy. I've been drawing, painting, or doing some sort of crafty goodness since I was a small creature. I've dabbled in numerous mediums and materials over the years. Mostly I draw or paint with some combination of colored pencil, ink, watercolor, or digital and these days I find myself doing a lot of sewing with felt. I enjoy using just about whatever kind of material I can get my hands on.

Besides my creative endeavors, I enjoy cheesy sci-fi, cartoons and comics, tromping around outdoors, and going places. I also avidly pursue the making and eating of tasty foods, and I have the magpie-like enjoyment of collecting shiny and/or colorful small objects.
