I am a self taught seamstress and designer, and I love to sew.

I live in the Metro Washington DC suburb of Germantown, MD. I am so inspired by DC, in particular Mount Vernon, and the First Ladies exhibit at the National Museum of American History. I also like to make frequent trips to Monticello, Williamsburg and Montpelier.

Other things I get excited about include the September issue of Vogue, the Academy Awards, Louis XIV and Paris, the Beatles, Liz Taylor’s jewelry, “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes,” William & Kate, Yves St. Laurent, “Emma,” the Hope Diamond, Andy Warhol, “Auntie Mame,” Coco Channel, Biltmore Estate, and Vera Wang’s Wedgwood china collection.

I design and make fabric accessories including handbags, totes, and jewelry. My signature product is probably my wine glass holder - I've sold hundreds of them at the area wine festivals I attend.

All my designs are made out of the finest fabric or ribbon I can find. I prefer things to be symmetrical, and I like to keep seams to a minimum. My mantra is simple, elegant, feminine, light and classic.

When I’m not sewing, I’m either doing yoga or I’m at the movies.
