I have been involved with dogs and I sell all sorts of dog related t-shirts and other products at two of my websites (http://www.cafepress.com/dogdaze and http://www.zazzle.com/knewfy* and here at Etsy I sell dog collars, doggy fabrics, and related items. I have been an artist my whole life. My career as a teacher involved teaching Art, Special Education, and many years as a substitute teacher teaching just about everything. My career with dogs included operating a boarding kennel, instructing obedience classes, showing, raising and breeding Newfoundland dogs for many years, and volunteering as a Search and Rescue person with my Newfoundland canines. Now I am retired and have one newfy, and one rat terrier who thinks she is a newfy.
I love to sew and have gotten involved just lately with sewing dog collars and lots and lots of tote bags..it is relaxing to sew, and fun to think up new ways to put beautiful fabrics together.
Occasionally there will be wood worked items on my shop. Like everything else "artistic" ya gotta be "in the zone". I get going on projects with certain materials and work it for awhile until something else get me going on a whole different track, so you will see LOTS of different products here at Kathy's Craft Shop.
