We are mother and daughter, both named Heddy, that love to make things and be creative! We began making felt hair clips and headbands when my oldest daughter was a baby. I was having a difficult time finding modern, fun, and fashionable hair accessories that were also practical for my busy child! I fell in love with the felt clips, because they stayed put in her very fine hair! I have been hand cutting and sewing our originally designed felt hair accessories ever since. We use wool and wool-blend felt for all of our hair clips and headbands.

"Kitty Riddle? How did you come up with that?!"
My Great-Grandmother's name was Kitty Riddle. When trying to decide what we should call our line, this really hit home for us. Not only does it have a quirky, child-like feel to it, Kitty Riddle also represents the importance of family within our designs. Not only do my mother and I work together, my daughters also throw in their own advice in regards to what they like! The clips are called "Sister Irene", "Sister Lula", "Sister Wren", etc. because these were Kitty's sisters...and yes, they did always add the "Sister" before the name :)!
