I have been making dolls of some sort since childhood. It started with Holly Hock dolls and I still remember the joy of lining them all up on the front porch in their beautiful ball gowns.
I have a Bachelors degree in Nursing and worked for many years as an RN. While raising my family and caring for the sick I have taken (and continue to take) courses in Art and dollmaking to enhance my skills.
I am retired from nursing now and able to enjoy my grandchildren and indulge my passion for creating beautiful heirloom dolls.
I am a member of Dianna Effners Doll Dreamers Guild and have been trained by Dianna to paint both porcelain and her special edition vinyl using her eye painting techniques.
Porcelain dollmaking is an ever evolving yet timeless art form and after all these years I still find great joy in watching the little characters come to life from liquid clay,...

My husband and I live in beautiful East Tennessee where the glorious Smoky Mountains and wonderful rivers and parks fill our lives with joy and inspiration blessed with time to enjoy my grandchildren and just make dolls.
