At school was one of the kids with the best bead box. We used to swap them. It wasn't trendy to make jewellery.
Nothing about that educational system suited me; learned nothing (being a dyslexic didn't help either!)
What I made was doll's clothes; revamped mothers fur coat for myself with triangular fur needles.
The 1970's saw me in Taormina, Sicily, sitting in the sun making wire jewellery.
Back in Ireland a lucky break got me into the Grafton Fashion Academy. After that worked in Milan, Italy for Gigi, a theatrical gown and set designer.
Went University in the 90's but instead of becoming a councelling psychologist with my degree - turned back to BLING!
Teach wire and bead jewellery making; Organisation Stress & Time Mgm skills.
2004-06 went to Art and Design College.
