Hi! I'm Liz. I'm a fully qualified Fashion Designer.

I graduated Manchester Metropolitan University in the U.K. in 2000 after exhibiting at Graduate Fashion Week in London, with a B.A. (Hons) in Fashion.

I am currently living in the U.S., in the New York Metro Area. Where I have access to some of the best fabric and haberdashery stores.

I've been sewing since I was young. My mum gave me a pair of sharp adult scissors when I was 2 because she was fed up of me trying to cut paper, card & fabric with kiddies safety scissors and not getting anywhere, people thought she was mad, but I never cut anything I shouldn't have!

About

Hi!

By 5 I was hand sewing, knitting & crocheting.
At 7 my Grandma gave me my first hand sewing machine. From there my first collection of coin purses was born, simple folded designs edged in contrasting handmade binding.
When I was 9 I started to learn Lace Making at an afterschool club.

I love to make things from found materials, but I also love to create the fabrics first, then turn them into something fabulous.

Since graduating with a full working knowledge of design & garment construction, I have taken courses in several other areas including Millinery.

If I don't know how to make something, I purposely go out & find out how to do it.

Therefore I also get easily sidetracked when I see something new & sparkly I just have to try it out! So my shop is full of lots of different gorgeous stuff mainly due to this.

Enjoy rummaging!
