I fell in love with letterpress when I was a little girl as my mom, an artist and graphic designer, raised me up in the ways of all things pretty and thoughtfully created. The process of nurturing a little idea into a design that becomes a relief plate that goes on a vintage press humming with that perfect color of ink to kiss thick cotton paper for a lovely momento of a beautiful day feeds my need to be creative and work with my hands all at once, and sometimes just maybe becomes a metaphor of the deeper things in life.
