Why Lockette? Well, I'm a Locke. My husband is a Locke and our kids will be Lockes. I decided that the cute, female version of a Locke would be a Lockette ~ it's a nod back to my favorite sky blue smurf.

When I’m not ankle deep in yards of fabric, I’m teaching the most adorable kindergarten kids, who constantly remind me to have fun and enjoy life.

In the summers you can find me with a camera around my neck traveling the globe, hitting up as many countries as time will allow. Even though I’ve traveled to more than 50 countries around the world, I still feel like I haven’t seen enough!

The Locker {The Blog}

Why a locker, you ask? I admit, it's not an object that has particular appeal to the masses. I had a locker once and it wasn't pretty. It was small, cramped and sometimes it was the unfortunate recipient of a forgotten lunch.

But this locker is different. It's the home for my work, inspiration and ideas. Much like a real locker, it's going to be a place for me to drop my goods and store my ideas.
