I have started my artistic journey in Zakopane, a ”magical place” surrounded by polish Tatra mountains, similar to Montparnasse in Paris and loaded with cafés and bars. Hectic meeting places where artistic ideas were hatched and mulled over .There I created my first designs, but From there I moved to Gdansk (gaining a Master Degree in Fine Arts and ceramics). Living on the coast of Baltic sea completely changed my way of seeing the objects, making me a keen researcher of structure and tensions within the material.

Right after I graduated from Academy of Fine Art – I thought I was going to build large
scale ceramic installations. But soon after that, I became a mum and many things changed in my life. I thus started to think about smaller projects

In 2010 I started to work with parian porcelain, opened a studio and started to design unique and stylish jewellery pieces (MaaPstudio), thus creating quality items, with effortless modernity and lasting value.

I found design and making jewellery enjoyable and I am happy that a lot of people around the world recognize it as a valuable piece of art.
