Magnolia handspun came about quite naturally as I always admired handspun yarn. I threw caution to the wind and decided to start spin yarn myself.
I grew up in Scandinavia where I used natural dyes, such as blueberries and birch leaves to color material. Using that knowledge I applied that to dying the roving I spin today.
I am always looking for new color combinations and fibers to be intertwined in my yarn. My yarn can never be reproduced the uniqueness of the colors, fibers and how I spin makes it completely original.
I love to spin...everyday is something new.
It makes me happy.
