About

Margaret Meyer thought she'd be a veterinarian but somehow ended up an artist who sometimes works in stop-motion animation. About

Margaret Meyer thought she'd be a veterinarian but somehow ended up an artist who sometimes works in stop-motion animation. Most recently she was lured to Portland, OR (where she still resides) by Laika Entertainment to design and fabricate costumes for the new Mr. Peanut commercials and the feature film, Coraline. Margaret exhibits her paintings and sculptures here and there and her work is included in private collections throughout the US and as far away as Melbourne and Prague (where she once worked for peanuts painting marionettes sold to tourists on the Charles Bridge!). She likes to invite viewers to make up their own stories about her images.
