The seed for my shop was planted a few years ago when I started planning my own wedding. I am a farm girl at heart so we wanted a rustic yet modern, and down to earth yet elegant spirit for the day. And like most couples, were constantly searching for ways to create our own unique expression of that day. We kept running into dead-ends when trying to bring that vision to life in our flowers…’this flower’s not in season, that one is too delicate, those don’t come in the right color, these do come in the right color - but only sometimes - so you’ll just have to wait and see what the grower sends’….Not happy with the options, I decided to take things into my own hands. Literally. If they couldn’t create the texture & color I was seeking, I would find a way to do it myself! ; )

Since then Milkpod Studio has grown to include miscellaneous one-of-a-kind goodies for those looking for something off the beaten path for their home. Each item is handcrafted from scratch by me, piece by piece from a variety of fabric textures, colors & patterns to incorporate a rustic yet elegant spirit. All my pieces are created with utmost attention to detail and will hopefully become treasured heirlooms for your future generations!
