About

I was born and raised in Zürich, Switzerland where I learned my craft as a bookbinder. After a traditional 4-year apprenticeship and several sojourns abroad I established my own atelier in Zürich in which I practiced for 14 years. I also taught for many years at a school for Continuing Education. Working with paper,leather,fabric and glue has been my big passion ever since I was sixteen. I love being creative and I am inspired by children books, t-shirt prints and graphics when trying to come up with new ideas.
Since 1996 I live and work in Seattle, WA
