I strive for the best quality of build that I can do without over processing or over thinking it. Raw is what I love, each piece has qualities that make it an individual! No piece is the same even if it has a similar appearance. I want to provide people with art they are proud to own! I want each piece to speak to someone, and for it to have a special place in their home and heart! Out of the warmth of wood and the coldness of metal comes true Beauty! Handcrafted out of a passion for life, art and unique style comes Ostlund Custom Works! My materials include but are not limited to Wood, Metal, and Glass. The wood I use most is oak, but I also use exotics like blood wood, purple heart wood, Brazilian cherry and whatever else I can get my hands on. I want to start incorporating more and different materials such as plastics and composites like carbon fiber. I also have plans for electronics being added for breathtaking and just amazing lighting effects and accents. I am sure at some point you will find that perfect piece that just blows you away! And that is what keeps me going! Now if you want something special let me know and i would be happy to work on a design that fits your needs and your dreams! Keep in mind I cant do everything yet but as I grow and progress more things can be brought to the table!
