I believe in respecting the natural world and honoring the Earth, and decided to incorporate that into my pieces. I draw upon nature for inspiration : plants, dead trees, spiderwebs, animal bones, ferns, rivers, mountains and crystals, clouds over the ocean and drift wood.

Much of my time is spent roaming the forests and city streets. Always looking for rusty bits, dead bugs, pretty rocks and bones.

Our modern world wastes so much and often undervalues animal life. My pieces are my way of celebrating the beauty of all animals, inside and out.

A large portion of the money from my shop helps to feed my adopted cats (and the crows, squirrels and misc. birds near my home) as well as going to multiple charities. I regularly donate to the Defenders of Wildlife, Northwest Wildlife, Wolf Haven International, W.W.F. and other similar organizations.

I do Not use bones from:
-animals raised in factory farms of any sort (including cows, chickens, or pigs)
-animals raised for the fur industry (mink, foxes, chinchilla, etc..)
- exotic pets kept in cages
- wildlife killed by pest control
- wild animals shot for culling or trophy (this includes coyotes, wolves, large game)
- anything that was trapped in ANY way, EVER (raccoons, opossums, foxes, etc).

Bones sources I do use :
- roadkill (i do not enjoy finding roadkill, it breaks my heart. i just like to make use of what nature offers)
- natural deaths (including killed by natural predators)
- railroad fatalities
- free range farm animals who died natural deaths or were humanely put down at the end of their lives
- found bones from the forest.
