Kendra Johnson was born and raised in San Leandro, CA. Upon graduating from San Leandro High in 2000, she went on to major in theatre with an emphasis in acting at Humboldt State University. There, she discovered the craft of stage makeup and was the first to develop and complete an emphasis in makeup design with a focus in prosthetic makeup. She earned her BA at Humboldt State after a move to Canada, where she studied Makeup for Film and Television at Vancouver Film School, graduating with honors. After a long hiatus, Kendra's focus has returned to prosthetic makeup application, she then began marketing her prosthetics after receiving an unexpected request to purchase her animal noses. This opened an opportunity that Kendra had yet to consider, and therefore opening up a world beyond the curtains.
