Thanks for visiting my shop! I've been handcrafting luxurious butter enriched soaps for 15 years, but only started selling in 2008 with devotion to quality products and exceptional customer service. I make soaps completely from scratch using wonderful plant based raw ingredients by the cold process method, the old fashioned way. The plant butters & vegetable oils are gently heated. Once the mixture starts to saponify, I add the essential oils or fragrances, then the mixture is poured into molds, and sometimes I swirl in colors. Then the mold is nestled within blankets. After 24-48 hours the soap is unveiled (I love this part!). I cut it into bars using guitar strings & the edges are trimmed with a wood edging tool. Everything is done by hand by me. The soap is left to cure for 4 weeks. The soap is weighed, wrapped, and ready for your enjoyment. I sometimes use fancy molds with ocean shapes & floral shapes. I usually include Shea butter or something wonderful for your skin. All my soaps have excess butters so they are never even close to those mass produced store detergent bars that dry your skin. Pacific Paradise Soaps contain all the naturally occuring glycerin that is made from the saponification process to leave you with a luxurious bar of soap. Glycerin isn't an ingredient of true soap, it's a moisturizing by-product that forms naturally during the soap making process.
