Central New York state has been home all my life.
I began drawing when I was about four years old. I have taken a few college courses and have attended many demonstrations at art club meetings but I still consider myself to be a "self taught" artist.
My camera travels with me most of the time so that I can photograph special things that strike the "gotta paint it" mode. The photograph reminds me of the emotion at the time I clicked the shutter. Mostly I paint at home though I do paint "en plein air" occasionally. My most favorite topic to paint is Scenery, Portraits of elderly people, Children, Animals and flowers follow.
