Hi! Thanks for peeking into my little sewing world!

When I'm not at home taking care of my little peepers Owen and Ellie (and hubby Jonathan!), I am loving all things ruffley, frilly, antiquey, handmadey, and cheapy-chic...put all those together and you get one parsimoniously cute project. Hence, Parsimony!

I grew up with a grandmother, my meemaw, who is an amazing seamstress. Even now at 94 years old she's still sewing strong. It wasn't until I was well into my 20's and a new wife that I decided...hmmmm. I want better curtains than I can afford. And the rest is history. I took a class and have never stopped sewing. I love it.
