I'm a teacher by trade and as teachers know, we are constantly creating, reinventing and reorganizing our worlds. My creative side often presented itself in activities, projects and parties for the classes I was in. I soon found myself looking for reasons to plan parties. Over the years I took every chance I got to plan parties whether they were for the holidays, for a dinner or for the many events family and friends have throughout their lives. The recent years have been what I like to call the "marrying years" when many of my friends have gotten married giving me the chance to plan a number of bridal showers and bachelorette parties. Recently, the marrying years have given way to the "baby years" and all of the baby showers that go along with that. I love putting together an event that is a reflection of the person it is for. I love finding the perfect table accessory or centerpiece to bring it all together and most of all I love the look on a person's face when they see their party for the first time.
