About

I have always been intrigued with pottery. The shapes, designs and colors. Taking a ball of clay, throwing it on a wheel with water and shaping it in to a pot, bowl, vase, etc. is a "high" for me.

As a school teacher I always had clay in the classroom. I found that when my students were given a ball of clay they became relaxed and quiet while molding and shaping the clay then glazing it with a variety of colors. So, when I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and had to leave my teaching position I began throwing clay and followed my students by using a variety of colors. It is more wonderful than I expected and very therapeutic!

I hand throw and hand build with different types of clay and hand pour liquid clay (slip) in to molds to make pottery for you, your home, and office and for friends and family...

"Throwing" pottery has such a calming affect. Once I have the clay in my hands, get it centered on the potter's wheel it seems as though all the cares and worries that I have vanish for a time and I become lost concentrating only on what my piece will end up like.

I make my pottery with you in mind that is why I offer such a broad range of colors and designs because everyone is different and I want you to be able to find a piece that will fit you and your personality.

Thank you! I appreciate your support.
