I am a self taught artist who works with lost, tossed and forgotten items that are left by the roadside, buried in an old barn, or deposited at the local scrap yard. Working with what most people would consider 'trash' is challenging and fulfilling. There is nothing quite like finding unique objects that have been weathered and beaten up by life and creating functional art out of it, giving it a 2nd life.

As of Jan 2012 I've started making pendants, listed on my sidebar as: Art Jewelry.
Heretofore my work has consisted of: Mixed Media Wall Art, Limited Edition Clocks, candle holders, trays, tables and vase/containers and anything else functional I can think of. Aside from photography, paint and some of the hardware, I use as much reclaimed materials as possible. This includes: found metal, wood, plastic, rubber and pipe.

Information Regarding the Objects That I Work With:

Please note, I work with found objects, many of which are old and rusty. I take care in using sturdy objects that aren't going to disintegrate or fall apart. However, some things may rust if exposed to the elements (left outdoors). My vases have been protected with a rust converter as well as 2 coats of rustoleum enamel paint. If over time you notice some rust in the water, this will not hurt anything and shouldn't alarm you.

All of my other artwork that uses found objects are tested (ie: clocks working properly) and as 'archival' as possible.
