NEWS (4/5/2012): The shop will remain closed for an undetermined amount of time. I realize I must refocus on a few personal issues in my life, as well as reevaluate my goals in making this shop successful, that is if I choose to return. It's been a fun couple of years attending craft shows and selling my items online. I'm very happy with the people I have met here, the sellers, and the customers who have supported my work. It means a lot to me. My twitter account and blog will remain open for personal use.

Hello. I am Carolina and I run the macrame based shop called Pikithins.

Pikithins is a play on the words 'picky' and 'things'. During my creative process, I have always been picky about details. However, I am open minded as to how those details come together!

I have been crafting ever since I was a child and can never find a way to lose interest! My largest inspiration comes from unusual and random color combination's seen either walking the streets of New York or from the fabrics lying about my work desk.
