Hello! My name is Erin Duke. I live just outside Charleston, SC with my wonderful husband Roger and our 3 crazy dogs Maya, Lucky, and Lily.

I have considered myself a photographer since I was a little girl armed with a point-and-shoot Vivitar. To this day, I keep a camera close at hand at all times, whether it’s a digital SLR or my pink Sony Cybershot. The world is filled with interesting and beautiful things to photograph, and I’m a firm believer in being prepared to do just that. I seek to find the beauty in everyday life, from the way the sun hits the flowers on my kitchen table to the quirky smile of a friend.

The culture and landscape of different parts of the world are also an inspiration to me. Through my photography I wish to share the experience of travel with those who may never be blessed with the opportunity to see different parts of the world with their own eyes. From the rolling hills of Ireland to the serenity of the Great Barrier Reef, every photograph has an emotion. I wish invoke in others what I was feeling or thinking when I took that particular photograph.

Photography is a hobby for some, and a job for others. For me, it’s a passion, an integral part of me. It’s a lifelong pursuit of the elusive “perfect” shot. While I may never achieve it, I know I’ll never stop searching for it.
