A little about us and POSTERPOP:
We are Vicki and Ron, full time artists who have been sharing a studio and our lives since 2005. WE LOVE ART! We LOVE the smell of paint! We LOVE design, we LOVE color!!! We LIVE and are ALIVE in our studio! We get up early in the morning and stay up late at night because we LOVE what we do! Yes, we left corporate lives to follow what we've wanted to do since we were children. It's never been about the content of the term paper but about what the cover of it looks like. So, be fearless, follow your heart, find love and happiness!
Whether we spend 45 hours drawing a motorcycle illustration for our "Keep Calm and Ride On" motorcycle parody or doing a commission painting for a moon walking astronaut, IT'S ALL GOOD!
Our POSTERPOP Shop is all about our interest in retro design, style, and having fun in a good way with parodies of the original Keep Calm and Carry On poster which has become a phenomena. What makes a lot of the illustrations for our parody posters unique is our use of highlights and shadow effects which give depth, dimension and interest. Oh, by the way, all of our designs are ORIGINAL drawings created by us.
