My name is Carm. (Hence my shop name Projectsbycarm!)
My childhood was spent working on my family's sheep and dairy cow farm in WI. My parents taught me to be resourceful and to create with what we already had.
This is how I learned the full process of making a hat....starting with caring for the sheep, shearing the wool, washing, cleaning, drying, carding, dying, spinning, plying, winding, dreaming, drawing, developing a silly idea, and finally knitting/crocheting and blocking the final piece!
