About

We're a family of five homesteading and natural-schooling in the middle of a Canadian city. We value the finer things in life: our family, our faith, real food, creativity and home.
I have amazing memories of life on the farm I grew up on. A poplar bush with a creek running alongside, old barn buildings to explore, an enormous vegetable garden bordered with wildly growing old fashioned flowers and a house full of friends and cousins eating homemade food.
My mom is a quilter and her sewing room was an explosion of buttons, cast off clothing to be upcycled and snips and bolts of every fabric imaginable. I will share some of those found treasures with you now!
The hazelwood necklaces and pillow cases are made by myself, with a little "help" from my wee ones!
