Helloooo.! I'm Julie Godsey, the designer behind the Folk.

Quick personal bits: I'm 29 years old. Married in November of 2008 to my writer husband Matt. We are both native Texans but have been living in a little place on a hillside in the lovely Los Angeles neighborhood of Silverlake. I've just quit my job to pursue my handmade business (including teaching craft classes) full time :)

I LOVE creating beautiful pieces for people to enjoy and to make them feel confident/original/adorable/etc...

I think a great accessory could change the course of one's life. I say this light heartedly but I really am kind of serious. Hehe. For example, an interesting accessory could be the conversation starter that connects you with your future spouse/friend/employer/business partner...you never know ;)...
