About
Rita is a self taught artist, who finds it very natural and fulfilling to combine her love of painting with her lifelong love for dogs. She is a huge supporter of missions to save dogs and all animals. Her own dog Katie was rescued just hours before she was scheduled to be "put down".
A native Californian who was raised along with a brother and sister by a hard working single mother in the corn and soybean growing region south of Chicago, Il. As an adult she later resided in Kansas, Colorado, and Washington state.
In the 80's she returned to California, raised two sons and started a career with UPS.
Rita retired from UPS and is currently living in San Diego with her husband Terry and dog Katie!
