I am the proud mother of the sweetest 7 year old son in the world, and stepmom of 2 wonderful kids... and yes, they all have quilts made by Momma! Married to the love of my life, and also "Momma" to 2 wonderful, huge dogs.

I have been sewing and quilting for 28 years, starting with a doll quilt when I was 4; I've long ago lost count, but have made somewhere around 40-50 quilts in my life already, and only last fall started selling them. One of my hallmarks is originality. I take great effort to ensure that there are no other items exactly like what I make; and with all of the hundreds of things I've made over the years, not one has ever been exactly alike.

Favorite materials

Vintage and reproduction print cottons are my favorite fabrics, I use new fabrics, but also have a stash of vintage fabrics and barely worn clothing I have purchased from thrift stores to keep out of the landfill, and enjoy reusing those both for the design and originality, along with some precious fabrics from my mother and even my grandmother
