Kathy's Profile

About

I am a retired elementary school librarian who has always loved creating beautiful things. I began crocheting in my late teens and am mostly self-taught. There are crocheted afghans in many of the rooms of my house and in the homes of my family and friends. I began cross-stitching the same year I began my career as a librarian - 1979. Over the past 30+ years I have stitched hundreds of items both large and small. My family and friends have been the recipients of dozens of my ornaments and many of my framed pieces. They have also been some of my best customers!

Now that I'm retired, I hope to spend much more of my time stitching. I pass many hours of the day and night in my favorite chair, listening to a audiobook and stitching or crocheting.
