Born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, I have always thought of myself as an abstract artist. The creative urge has always been with me. Painting has been my way of communicating something about the good and bad things in life. Contributors to both have been, family, politics, religion, the art world, and the art-making process.

I have always turned to my art as a way to express the jumble of thoughts in my head. From rich toned abstracts to peaceful scenes and bright, colorful pieces, my feelings flow out from one body of work to the next.

Each work brings me a sense of balance, as I hope they do for the many who view them. I hope you enjoy my abstract paintings and art prints.
