About
I started sculpting in February 1997 after taking a course in creating clay models from which a wood carving could then be made. After working with the polymer clay material used in the course, I was so hooked on polymer clay sculpting that I gave up wood carving ( I couldn't keep the knives sharp anyway!!!)! My subjects are varied. I create a SCULPTURE from a lump of clay (no molds are used), bake it, paint it, mount it on wood from the trees on our farm, and then place a plaque on it with its name. Each sculpture is unique and one of a kind, completely hand done. My subjects are taken from living and travelling all over the United States, from milking dairy cows, raising beef cattle and other farm animals, having dogs, cats, ferrets, guinea pigs, fancy rats, a hedgehog, and now raising and showing American Quarter Horses and Paints. I also love PHOTOGRAPHY of animals, flowers, and anything in nature. We currently have 2 Jack Russell...
