Inspired by a mellow 1960's Ghanaian hilife tune "Serwa Akoto", which was inspired by muse and natural beauty, Ms. Serwaa Akoto, this oldies hit has one message to [African] women: to be confident and embrace your womanhood, your natural beauty from head to toe, inside and outside and to simply be.
The Seiwa Akoto Collecion focuses on statement pieces fashion with a truly feminine twist drawing influences from sophisticated [African] style icons, cultural symbolism and AfroFunk/Afropop music.
The Designer
Architecture by day, fashion & design by night. Loves music, food, laughter, wax prints and traveling.
