About

I've been folding continuously ever since I received my first origami book, Origami Sea Life by Robert Lang and John Montroll when I was a 9-year-old in 1999. I started designing my own models early, but the majority of them came about by just doodling, e.g., folding a sheet of paper without any actual specific outcome in mind. In 2004, I got a hold of Lang's Origami Design Secrets, which was fundamental in my own quest of becoming a better origami designer.

Besides origami, I enjoy playing golf (finally broke 80 this year!), reading comics, watching movies, and every once in a while I actually read a good book. I'm also an absolute nerd who loves to make pointless lists (every golf stat, greatest anime movies, top 10 largest dinos...). I completed two years at the community college last fall and now have an Associate Science degree.
