Sigmosaics is how I became known amongst my customers in Portugal ... therefore I decided to also use this name for my Etsy shop. My children provided the inspiration for the 'Sig' part ... it's their initials!

My mosaics are made from a mix of, acrylic and/or resin tiles, ceramic tiles, recycled tiles (a collection of which I have found while out walking), stones, gems, pool tiles, mirror, glass etc ... I'm always catching myself looking at something and thinking 'could I use this in a mosaic?ยด' or 'could I mosaic this?' ...

All of my acrylic and resin mosaic tiles are sourced from overseas.

I really enjoy working with different mediums and you will see these within my shop.

I love to work with clay, paper, cork, wood, foam, nature, tiles .. there's an unlimited supply of materials really.

I have a 2nd shop which is : www.signified.etsy.com it's on vacation presently.

As I try to recycle as much as possible, packaging often consists of re-used boxes, bubble wrap etc. In saying that, the items are shipped and wrapped attractively!!

Thank you for spending your time in here and I hope that you enjoy my work!
