My name is Kristin Brandt and I love soap. I love to experiement with it, test new techniques, new fragrance blends, new oils... all to create that perfect bar of soap. Silver Firs Farm was my parents Christmas tree farm, and the source of my love of making things. As a child I made perfumes from fir needles, ground up my mothers roses into potpourri, and melted beeswax into lumps somewhat resembling candles. My methods and materials have improved, but my joy and excitement have remained the same.

Everything I sell is made from love and care, I take safety as my number one priority. I also take pride in making soap that I KNOW is superior to any drugstore detergent bar. If you havent given handmade soap a try, now is the time. I promise you wont want to go back! Our soap retains all the natural glycerin which is a bi-product of the soap making process... that means its extra good for your skin, and it smells pretty great too!

There is a place on earth where the snow was always blinding white and fell in vast fields of emerald green trees.
Where summers were warm, shoulders tanned brown, and noses freckled just so.
Where the smells of a farm mingled with a faint ocean breeze and the delightful sounds of new life were everywhere.
Where fall storms would blow warm winds, whipping into the branches - and flashes of lightning would light up the skies.
Where tulips and daffodils bloomed through the frost and acres of lush green greeted you in the spring.

This place was magic. This place was Silver Firs Farm. A 5 acre slice of heaven with cows, goats, chickens, and rows of frost kissed Christmas trees. This was my childhood; blessed with the riches of nature. Now I can bring that nature to you in the form of luxurious soaps and delicious scented candles.

☼ All products sold at Silver Firs Farm are Vegan. Our soaps contain no Lard or tallow, and we use cruelty free/conflict free oils.

☼ Our candles are 100% soy wax (which burns virtually soot free when your wick is kept trimmed and clean) and our wicks are paper/cotton. Soy has many benefits including a longer burn time, the ability to clean up spills with soap and water, and a cooler melt pool. I never skimp on scent, your candles will be on the stronger side. We make no claims such as "3x scented!!" there is only so much scent wax can hold... but we promise they are strong, tested multiple times, and will burn well for you.
