I LOVE HAMMERS! I really do. I get excited about them because I love adding texture and depth to my work. Everything in my shop is hand made by my own two hands. I spend hours on each ring rounding edges so they are comfortable to wear. I pine over choosing the right stones or the right color combination, but that's fine because I love what I do.

I grew up in "Big Snow Country" near the shores of Lake Superior where I still reside with my husband and two children. Winter is about seven months long here, so although I love the outdoors and ski, snowshoe, and the like, I spend a lot of time indoors perfecting my craft and learning new skills.

I do a lot of gardening and I live in the great northwoods, so many of my creations are inspired by nature.
