Greetings and welcome to my shop!
Since 2010, I've started card/tablet weaving and it is the results of such an activity that I offer you here. This weaving technique has been known around the world from as far as Antiquity and consist of turning little cards or tablets punctured at the corners and filled with textiled threads. The turning of the cards and the use of different colors result in long woven bands of beautiful, sometime simple, sometime complicated designs. These designs are often inspired from archaeological evidences, making them ideal for historical reenactment, SCA, LARP, etc. My own personal era of interrest is the Viking era, and so my bands show designs not unlike the Scandinavians and Slavs of the VIIIth to the XIIth century would have worn.

All my bands are 100% wool or 100% linen or 100% silk. I only use these materials in order to stay as historicaly accurate as possible : Viking age scandinavian women primarily weaved with localy accessible fibers like wool, linen, hemp, flax, and traded silk from the Middle East.
I weave them strong and resistant, perfect for clothing and fabric decorations, belts, straps for female viking apron dress, etc. But for non-reenactors out there looking for something original, you can also find something for your camera strap or handbag, leash for your dog or cat, etc.

If you have special requests, feel free to contact me with the colors, the pattern of your liking and your favorite material. Dont forget to share with me the use you intend to make of my work, so i might shape a band 100% suitable! Just contact me to make something happen!
